Agent: Bonds won’t sign revised contract right now (AP)

Barry Bonds’ contract with the San Francisco Giants isn’t final just yet. After the commissioner’s office rejected Bonds’ $15.8 million, one-year deal because it contained a personal-appearance provision, the team sent revised documents to his agent, Jeff Borris. “At this time, Barry is not signing the new documents,” Borris said Wednesday.

AP Interview: Sweeney eager to move forward from situation with Bonds (AP)

Mark Sweeney insists he never had any amphetamines in his locker for San Francisco teammate Barry Bonds to take. Bonds dishes dirt better than he takes it (AP)

Poor Barry Bonds. Somebody’s always picking on him, writing nasty things about how he puffed up bigger than the Michelin Man and suggesting he’s as wholesome as a used car salesman. Worst thing is, they don’t have the guts to say it to his face. It’s always coming from some anonymous source or grand [...]
